About Me – A Life in Motion, Sound & Story
Hi, I’m Kay Uwe Rott. For over 30 years, the world of media has been more than just my profession – it’s been my playground, my passion, and my purpose.
My journey began at the legendary Bavaria Film Studios, where I learned the art of storytelling from the ground up. Those early years laid the foundation for everything that followed: five exciting years with a major TV production company, where I worked on live shows, international formats, and productions that pushed creative boundaries.
Driven by a desire to shape my own path, I launched my own production company – and ran it successfully for over two decades. In those years, I lived many roles: producer, director, editor, writer, composer, trailer cutter, digital artist. From live broadcasts to cinematic trailers, from documentary storytelling to orchestral scores – my passion always led the way.
